Do I need training to use Spencer3D?
No. Using Spencer3D is very simple.
From anxiety and self-harm to anger and aggression, Spencer3D allows you to access advice, support and encouragement to manage your student’s mental health and well-being. It isn't about diagnosis but will give you strategies and recommendations to help support your young people.
Spencer3D provides a summary of a student’s strengths and weaknesses based on the profile you and your colleagues have created. It then provides recommendations and strategies on how to address the behavioural issues and difficulties a young person may be displaying.
To get into the help available you answer some questions and Spencer3D can then guide you, it provides you with lots of ideas.
What is a Profile?

Spencer3D then provides ideas about how you might understand a young person’s problems, giving you and your colleagues practical recommendations on how to manage the issues identified. The guidance is based on practical evidence-based strategies and approaches from a range of professionals.
How many times can I update my Profile?
There’s no limit to how many times you can update your profile.
How do I get started?
It's easy, just sign up for Spencer3D and complete profiles for young people.
How confidential is the data?
When setting up a Profile, the system will not ask you for your name. Nobody can tell it is you unless you choose to show or tell someone.
Just so you know, the data held on the site is very safe and secure. Spencer3D is hosted using the latest Microsoft Azure cloud platform, which has more certification than any other cloud provider. Microsoft Azure has been given “OFFICIAL” accreditation and G-Cloud approval by the UK Government.
As when handling all log in and password information, we recommend that you keep this private. Users are responsible for the security and proper use of all passwords relating to the service and must take all necessary steps to ensure that all passwords are kept confidential, secure, used properly and not disclosed to other people.
How do I pay for Spencer3D?
There will be a choice payment levels for Spencer3D, depending on how many profiles you need.
One plan allows you to profile 10 students/young people as often as you would like in a 12 month period. Others will allow more students to be profiled.
You will be able to pay via PayPal using a credit card or request an invoice. If you request an invoice the system will allow you to access the questionnaire and create profiles.
